onlyjoe have four EP's under their belt and are currently working on their debut album. Extensively touring the UK and building a solid fanbase at festivals and gigs over the last four years has seen the band garner support from some of the UK's most prolific reggae DJ’s such as The Heatwave, Trojan Soundsystem's Earl Gateshead, Congo Natty, Young Warrior (son of Jah Shaka) and Sir David Rodigan. The band have also gained radio play on many underground radio stations including Rinse FM and Kiss FM. onlyjoe have played shows to crowds of up to 10,000 at events and venues including Glastonbury Festival, Boomtown Fair and London's Roundhouse.
Jago's raggamuffin style adds a unique flex to onlyjoe's texture. He works closely with engineer Hylu with whom he produces the duo’s original riddims as well as performing live at events around the country.
Founding member, guitarist and songwriter Rowan Kent has been slogging away as part of onlyjoe for over 10 years and has been influential in the bands development and sound. His instantly recognisable licks form the mainstay of onlyjoe's records.
Bethnal Green's Sam Guttmann Hancocks (aka Sweet Boy) plays keys and skanks with the best of them.

Bristol's own Papa B smashes the dance with his horn lines. While a crucial part of the onlyjoe sound, you'll also find him blowing on literally hundreds of releases spanning several genres as well as a cornerstone of the Hundred Years and Unit 137 record labels. He's also head honcho at Bristol-based record shop Maggie Scratchers.
Born and raised in Hackney, Zico’s diverse vocal styles have seen him singing and MC-ing at events around the globe. A keen Micheal Jackson impersonator, he provides the soulful edge to onlyjoe's vocals as well as maintaining a growing collection of solo projects.
Galak Spiritual is a MC/Singer from Paris. He began his musical career over a decade ago - first as a hip hop artist before progressing to reggae music. His unique style has seen him perform alongside some of the scene's biggest artists. So.
D-Tek is a Brixton based DJ, producer, bassist & born junglist. As well as providing the back bone to onlyjoe’s reggae sound with his almighty basslines, his own productions come with enough weight to move any dance floor. Watch out for this lad.
onlyjoe's beloved engineer, Hylu is an innovative DJ and producer and a key contributor to the onlyjoe sound. While running the Unit 137 studio and soundsystem he has worked with many important artists. Look out for some serious knob twisting at a festival near you.
Obsessed with all sounds of JA. He can be found either drumming, recording analogue direct to tape or rooting through dusty vinyl crates. Ben is a co-runner of reggae label ‘Horus Records’.
The moment Cornish-born Andy (aka Max Tout) unsheathed his trumpet to the unsuspecting reggae scene, it became physically impossible to consider the musical landscape without this funk riddled force of nature dominating the horizon. Andy swears by the mantra: "If you don't blow hard enough, people will think you suck".
As the summer draws to it's conclusion and on finishing another festival season spanning both the UK & Europe, we have decided to celebrate the end of the season in the form of our new single, 'Hold Me.' The track has been a staple in our set for a good few years and a lot of you have demanded this release so we decided that it was the right time to put it out!
